Koki Goto is a Japanese Formula Kite athlete and national champion. He develops Ridewind, a sailing performance app, and researches automated tracking systems for filming athletes in marine sports.
Ridewind
I develop Ridewind, a performance tracking app for sailors and Formula Kite riders. Athletes can use an Apple Watch or iPhone to record sessions and analyze speed, VMG, routes, and upwind and downwind performance. It was created from challenges I experienced firsthand as a competitive athlete.

Research And Development
Koki works not only on app development, but also on research using computer vision, sensors, and location data to solve challenges found in real competitive environments.
He has also written a paper on a Virtual Race Management System for Formula Kite using local networks and GPS-based rule execution. His technical themes include GPS, Apple Watch and iPhone race tools, local network systems, race management support, and computer vision.
Video Production And BIGAIRMAN
Koki creates sports, promotional, and research-oriented videos for Formula Kite and open-water sports. Through BIGAIRMAN, he sells handles for kitesurfing.
